Some Battle Pics

Not much gaming going on for me right now, but here are some pics of a dogfight I had with a fellow seminarian on our first full day of the semester break.

The board set up with a couple planes for show.  My opponent used a Sopwith Camel while I opted for a Dr1.

Vacation Update

Quick update while I’m out of town. Got lot’s of goodies for Christmas, I also managed to shoot down my first two kills: A Fokker Dr. 1, and Albatros. Both shot down with a Sop. Camel in the same dogfight! I’ll have pics posted from a few games when I get back home Monday.

First Game with my Wife

Played my first WoW game with my wife, Jenn (who has never played a wargame before). She took a Sopwith Camel, and I took Udet’s Albatross. I gave her some quick instructions and she was ready to play. After some cat and mouse tactics, the Sop’s maneuverability got the better of my Albatross to the point where she was actually tailing me! Long story short, she blew out my rudder on her second pass, then got my plane smoking, and then sent my plane crashing to the ground in a ball of flame! I thanked her for playing the game and she replied: “You’re welcome; I’m glad I beat your @$$!”

Foam Smoke Trails

Here is a shot of some of the foam smoke trails I made today. The foam is dense enough that it can slip onto a wing and stay put.
